As of June 2025 the video generator at Porn.ai has still not been released, but a rep for the company has claimed that they are ‘very close’. The man behind PornAI – Steve Lightspeed – has talked up his porn video generator in the past, so we’ll be expecting a lot when it finally arrives. Back in May of last year (2024) he claimed that he would be making possible “Hyperrealistic Interactive AI Adult Video By End Of 2025!“.
“We may not be able to make AI videos yet, but we intend to be very well-positioned, with millions of fans, when the technology inevitably arrives,” Lightspeed says. “We are currently perfecting the user experience and working through the technological challenges of making hyperrealistic AI adult content a reality. Interactive video with customizable synthetic performers is the holy grail of AI content. This is the sole mission of Porn.AI, and we have received backing from well-funded venture capitalists to make it happen by the end of 2025.”
Since then, most of his top rivals for the crown of best NSFW AI image generator have made available ‘video generators’ that have progressed from little more than crude gif creators to what look like real video, even if they are usually limited to 4 or 5 seconds duration.
The official rep for PornAI has assured me that they are very close to releasing their video generator. They recently introduced a storyboard feature that allows you to create a series of images featuring a single AI character from a single prompt describing a sequence of actions. I’ve tested it and the character remains consistent in all the images, so it looks like the video generator will be the next step.
